Water parks are only getting better with the infusion of technology and Volcano Bay is leading the pack with its TapuTapu wristbands and virtual queue. Hanging out on Waturi Beach in front of the volcano feels more like a tropical island than Central Florida. Instead of a virtual queue, Island H2O Live! First up, you can pick the music and special effects on the raft ride and tap in to link up the app with cameras on the slides to capture photos and videos. Visitors can connect with others in their party to track their location throughout the park and even set alerts if your kids move outside of designated play areas. Then blizzard beach! I looked at the map they have far less rides then blizzard beach and Summit Plummit is absolutely not a kids ride.
It is like the 2nd largest water slide in the world!! There is no slide scarier then that one! Tube slides are always more kids and family style. I think Disney and universal are both great idk why there is always which is better as they are like made from the same company and structure. There are plenty of things to keep kids entertained there. We typically will hit the big slides at rope drop, then take the kids to this area in the afternoon while the old folks me and my wife lounge and rest on deck chairs.
And I agree with Brittany that Summit Plummet is great! There is a radar gun at the bottom that tracks the speed of the riders. Because i had also got its reviews and information about this, so understand so much that blizzard beach is better to go rather than volcano bay because some have unique slides and others requirements. Typhoon Lagoon has some of the best theming and by far the best wave pool I've ever been in. However, they got rid of the snorkeling tank, which was one of the unique features that set the Disney water park apart from the rest. The centerpiece of the multi-level water playground is a big pirate ship in the middle of the upper level. Explore the ship and discover refreshing water fountains and slippery water slides. The park also features a lazy river that encircles the upper level, offering mysterious caves, splash zones and outlets to stop and play.
