Thankfully, they had two special weapons: helmets that gave them super-powers, and everyday vehicles that transformed into…well, other vehicles that could be used to fight terrorism.

Previously On: Admittedly, this one's a long shot. Break dancing? Of course! The mix of knowing nostalgia and lowest-common-denominator humor almost writes itself. This led both of them to go to their respective rival battles, which has Sonic fight against Shadow, who Sonic has trouble with, as Shadow has been absorbing energy from the Chaos Emeralds while on the Space Colony Ark. In fact, Sonic has to use Kaio-Ken times 2 in order to defeat Shadow, not wanting to stalemate with him.
He brings Shadow back to White Space, restoring him again. Classic Sonic then defeats Silver quite easily, but he does pay attention to how his future is, knowing that his, "Modern," counterpart is quite different from him, and his future should differ as well. Classic Sonic then collects the next Chaos Emerald, and just like that, they have 6 of the 7.
Classic Sonic reverts to his regular form to keep some of his energy, then Sonic and his Classic counterpart then both enter into the domain of the Time Eater.
Sonic easily outspeeds it, even without his Super form, but he can't land a hit on him, while Classic Sonic is getting hit by the time eater extremely often. This leads Sonic to obtain and use his Super form, gifting some of the power to Classic Sonic. The two of them fight the time eater, who they outspeed, especially Sonic, who doesn't even see the Time Eater as a threat, lets his Classic counterpart get in a few hits before he one shots the Time Eater.
Eggman laughs, and questions if Sonic thought that he was the true Time Eater. Eggman also acknowledges Sonic's sudden increase in strength, remarking that it's non-sensical eggman didn't go to the DBZ universe ever, that was one of Metal Sonic's avatars , but he reveals the Time Eaters true form, which is a brainwashed form of Chronoa, which is completely under both Doctor Eggman's control.
Sonic tells his Classic counterpart to run, which after turning into his base form, he does. Sonic has to use the full power of the 6 Super Emeralds to even keep up with Chronoa, which is at speeds that exceed the flow of time.
When Super Sonic slows down for a second, Chornoa hits Super Sonic to the ground, which instantly kills him. All of Sonic's friends gather to see the wretched scene, and Eggman says that he'll be taking over the universe, but just in time, Knuckles and Classic Sonic both jump in with the Super Emeralds.
They're unable to do anything, however, Shadow can. He uses the power of 5 of the 7 Chaos Emeralds to hold back Chronoa, however, unlike Sonic, he can't even annoy her, he has to fully focus on dodging due to the lack of a sixth chaos emerald, he's only able to keep up with her due to his incredible connection with Chaos Energy. Classic and Knuckles use the sixth chaos emerald to access Chaos Control, which allows them to slow down time enough so that they can revive Sonic using the energy of the Master Emerald.
Sonic then becomes his final form, with a Rainbow glow, and Sonic became his Hyper Form for the first time ever. Sonic quickly blitzed the true Time Eater. Chronoa was quickly knocked out, but Sonic, being able to sense the connection of negative energy between Eggman's machine and Chronoa, Sonic then destroyed the machine that Eggman had in a single blow. Sonic doesn't power down though, loving his Hyper Sonic form. He comes down, and gives a bit of Ki to Chronoa, who healed herself physically with that energy.
Chronoa was quickly able to get up, impressed with the fact that Sonic was able to beat her, even with a Hyper form. Chronoa offers Sonic a spot on the time patrollers, saying that he could become even stronger than she is with enough training.
Sonic denies this offer however, as he doesn't want to turn into the posterboy for some organization. Chronoa accepts the fact that Sonic wouldn't join, saying that his strength comes from being his own individual. Chronoa then thanked Sonic, and told him that she'd restore the entirety of the space-time continuum so it wouldn't take Sonic an afternoon to fix the universe.
Chronoa also told Sonic that he should likely revisit Universe 7, and when Sonic asks what Universe 7 is, Chronoa says its a code name for the other universe he saved from Cell. When Sonic asks why, Chronoa says that there should be another villain returning shortly, that she knows the Z-Fighters without the hedgehogs can't beat, as the foe to fight is bloodlusted.
Chronoa suggests that Sonic stay with the Chaos Emeralds while Shadow helps the Z-Fighters with a lesser foe, as Sonic needs to get much stronger in order to beat the foe that's coming to Universe 7. He does make cameos that shows him training in numerous ways, such as meditating to increase Ki power as well as absorbing the Chaos Emeralds to gain Chaos Energy, trained in a gravity room that he created on his own, which he trained at 4.
He also has been shown training his friends so that they can deal with other threats as well. After Goku's battle with Beerus, Beerus remains furious. He sees now that his fear was misplaced, as the reason that Beerus decided to come to earth in the first place was because he feared that a Super Saiyan God could take his post as the God of Destruction.
After seeing that his slumber was interrupted for no purpose, he quickly created a ball of energy, designed to destroy the entire milky way galaxy, and part of the neighboring galaxies, as he saw Namekians helping the fighters of Earth.
Shadow quickly became his Super Saiyan 2 form, which even though the forms power was great, being stronger than Chaos Perfect Cell and Majin Buu, it was no match for Beerus' power. A portal quickly opened, which led Sonic to come out of the portal, jumping up and destroying the ball of pure energy with a technique he developed, a Chaos Kamehameha.
With the ball destroyed, Beerus was even more furious that he was before. Beerus still suppressed his power, as to not threaten his entire universe, and Sonic and Beerus quickly fought, with Sonic being able to overcome Beerus' power output quite easily.
During their fight, they slowly became evenly matched, and soon, Beerus decided he had enough, unleashing his full power.
The pure aura alone threw the hedgehog back onto the ship. Beerus taunted the hedgehog, thinking he had won, but Sonic still hadn't finished his fight. He took the Chaos Emeralds, and quickly became Super Sonic. Beerus was surprised that Sonic was able to attain that level of power, as Sonic said that he had almost attained the power of one chaos emerald, and he was surprised that he had to use his Super Form.
Super Sonic fighting against Lord Beerus was barely a competition, as Sonic massively overwhelmed Beerus. Sonic, however, was merciful, which allowed Beerus to take one of the Chaos Emeralds and put it in Universe 6. This made Sonic's super state fluctuate, but Sonic was still able to remain in his Super Sonic form, albeit barely.
The fight was more even from their, ending in Sonic's loss due to the bloodlusted nature of Beerus. Beerus, however, after seeing how Sonic, even though the galaxy was under the threat of being destroyed, still maintained composure and never once attempted to kill Beerus. Beerus also looked at the nature of the people, as they were all good, and would never try to take his place as the God of Destuction.
Beerus was now calm, and was overjoyed when he was allowed to eat a ridiculous amount of food. Beerus also reveals the information that he revealed in the original Dragon Ball Super manga, about him being the god of destruction and the other universes, and how Sonic is merely from a different timeline of Universe 7. Beerus now respects those of Universe 7, and he flies off to his own planet with Whis.
Similarly to the saga's with Majin Buu, Sonic doesn't actually appear in the saga, he instead trains during this saga, but this time without any cameo appearences. In the Universe 6 saga, we see that Sonic has now began training under the supervision of Whis, along with Goku, Vegeta, and Shadow. There are also others on the planet, who have decided to begin training with Sonic in order to protect their own universe while Sonic is away, which includes Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and Amy.
We get a small flashback to why there are so many who are training on Planet Beerus, which shows Beerus telling Sonic to beat him at full power without his super form if he wants his friends to train with him. Sonic accepts, as he got stronger, and overwhelms Beerus, who states that his power is equal to in between his six and seven chaos emerald form that they had the last time they fought. After the fight, Beerus asks how Sonic got so powerful, and Sonic said that it was because he began training with Super Sonic, and not just his base form.
The flashback ends, as we get dropped in between Champa saying that he'll be hosting a tournament between Universe's 6 and 7. While this intrigues the majority of the Z-Fighters, Sonic does not look forward to it, as he's grown to hate fighting over the years, though he knows there will always be a fight that he needs to protect those he cares about from, so he trains. But the announcement of a tournament is different, it's intentionally fighting two different people, which he, as his universe's strongest fighter, besides Whis, should attend.
Sonic, however, is told specifically by Beerus, not to attend the tournament to let the rest of the Z-Fighters to have a spotlight. Sonic is grateful that he doesn't have to fight, but he still gives his best wishes to the fighters who will be participating. The tournament is a little bit different in this version of events, instead being 5 different fights with 5 different fighters from each universe.
The fighters participating in the tournament from Universe 7 are Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Shadow, and Future Trunks, as the inclusion of Shadow made alternate timelines that were discovered by Beerus' current time period.
Those participating in the tournament decided to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, while Sonic decided to continue training with his Super Sonic form outside of the chamber. When the tournament begins, the fights are Piccolo fighting against Botamo, who Piccolo lost against, due to his muscles tiring out.
Shadow then fights against Frost, which Shadow has no prior knowledge on. Once Frost transforms into his final form, he sees that he's near equal to Shadow, and that he could win with strategy. Shadow decided to not play around with Frost, as he became a Super Saiyan to easily close the gap. As a final resort, Frost attempted to use his tail poison, which Shadow is unaffected by, saying that he's the ultimate life form and his pathetic tricks won't work on him.
Shadow then easily defeats Frost with his Super Saiyan Form. Future Trunks then fights against Magetta, who he loses against with difficulty, fighting the fight almost identical to how Vegeta fought, except just not being strong enough currently, as he still hasn't gained the power from the Goku Black Saga's. Vegeta then fights against Cabba, which is identical to the canon material.
Goku doesn't give up this time, as he knows it's the final fight that has the whole tournament riding on it.
Due to the rules not allowing killing, Goku wins the fight. When Champa tries to make threats on universe 7, Sonic comes and makes a threat of his own, showing Champa his super form. Zeno comes and says that he's interested in hosting a tournament with a whole bunch of different universes and timelines.
This saga has Sonic on a journey to find the Master Emerald and Knuckles, which have both gone missing since the Universe 6 Saga after attempting to return to the main timeline.
It is revealed after an unknown period of time that the one who stole the Master Emerald was Eggman, as he's feeling insignificant, not being able to do anything that he wants anymore, due to Sonic's supreme power, and he reveals his greatest creation, Infinite, powered with the full power Phantom Ruby, created with the Master Emerald. It's revealed that Infinite literally has infinite speed, and his power is as powerful as a Chaos Emerald now.
Sonic reveals that he's been holding back the entire time, and he quickly blitzes Infinite after knowing how much of his power he has to exert, taking the Master Emerald for himself, and going to find Knuckles. He finds Knuckles, who is possessed by Enerjak. Sonic attempted to fight Enerjak, who said that he was faster than any other foe he had fought before. Sonic completely disregarded this statement, saying that he could defeat him without a sweat, which has Sonic unleash his new technique, the boost, which allows him to temporarily surround himself in Super Sonic's aura, which allows him to defeat Enerjak, before using his Ki to attempt to purify Knuckles, which fails, instead creating a true avatar for Enerjak, who teleports away to be fought in the future.
During the Tournament of Power arc, we see that Sonic has been busy, him, alongside Shadow, Tails, and Knuckles, have been cleaning up villains across all alternate timelines, with Sonic very clearly being the strongest fighter, with Shadow being close by, and almost being as strong as Sonic when using his Super Saiyan God technique. Knuckles and Tails aren't even close to the two of their levels, with Knuckles and Tails being as strong as Chaos Perfect Cell. Sonic and Shadow both are fighting foes on their own, while Knuckles and Tails were fighting together.
Sonic then found the perseon they were looking for, being Enerjak from the last story, and Sonic used Chaos Control to get six of the chaos emeralds, transforming into Super Sonic.
Enerjak smiled, thinking that he would finally have a good fight, but Sonic revealed his insane speed, defeating Enerjak completely, who said that he'd destroy universes to commemorate defeating him before this. Sonic then returned the Chaos Emeralds to his own timeline, with all of the others returning as well. They decided to celebrate together, with Sonic returning to Planet Earth.
While they celebrated, the Grand Minister appeared to announce the Tournament of Power to Sonic, who was the only candidate to be a God of his Timeline. Sonic asked if they would be forced to participate, and the Grand Minister said yes, as the two Zenos would be overseeing the tournament of power, though Sonic would be unable to participate due to being a candidate of being God.
Sonic was simultaneously happy that he wouldn't have to fight, and worried for the candidates, though he thought that Shadow would be good enough to fight. Sonic asked what criteria existed for the universes, which the Grand Minister said it was based off of how developed their society was, and how good people were to each other, with the Grand Minister even quoting that Sonic's timeline was the highest that was going to be participating, and also that any universe that lost would be destroyed.
Sonic decided that those who should participate should be the strongest of the universe, and not just those who were on the side of good. Sonic decided to choose Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge, Espio, Infinite, who was shown to have fled from the Eggman Empire and started living on his own, Emerl, who was a robot that Eggman had discovered, who was on par with Infinite due to the modifications Eggman gave to him, and Sonic, who was unable to find anyone else, decided to hold an intergalactic competition.
From the fighters from alternate planets, there was one from this timelines equivalent of Saiyan's, being named Beet, who had achieved the Super Saiyan 3 form in his time as a Saiyan, and had secretly done the Super Saiyan God ritual, but had yet to use the form. He was one of the most powerful Saiyan's outside of the Saiyan King Nappa, who claimed that Beet was almost equal to him.
There was also a Spirit Fighter, who was able to turn on and off his invulnerability at will, and was only able to be hit by Saiyan's ki blasts, which had to specifically target his life force in order to be hurt.
He was also fairly powerful, and was able to hit foes more powerful than him by using a durability negating attack that wasn't able to deal insane damage. The final fighter was unable to be determined, due to the non-finalists all quitting, so in their time of need, Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel appeared, with Mighty volunteering to fight, saying that he had been training hard for a long time in order to surpass Sonic, which Sonic had remembered from when Eggman trapped him in prison.
Mighty wasn't nearly as strong as the majority of the fighters, but he was still around as powerful as Tails and Knuckles, so he allowed Mighty to participate. He decided that before the tournament, each of them would get one Chaos Emerald, besides Shadow, who was already equal to two chaos emeralds with Super Saiyan God, Infinite, who they still couldn't trust and had the power of one chaos emerald, and Emerl.
During the tournament, Sonic's timeline was able to do fairly well, with Shadow being the front runner until Jiren unleashed his full power and MUI Goku, who Shadow was unable to deal with.

He can traverse a large variety of terrain with no issue, from exploding spaceships to aquatic environments and hazardous volcanoes , Body Control Can sharpen his spines to perform his Spin Attacks , Natural Weaponry by sharpening his spines , Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant , Surface Scaling , Water Walking can walk on water through his speed , Enhanced Senses Hearing and Reflexes.
Replicated Chaos Control after seeing Shadow use it once, able to train with King Kai and learn the Kaio-Ken, can absorb energy from the chaos emeralds , Statistics Amplification with the super peelout , Resistance to Time Manipulation , and Age Manipulation Can traverse the Special Stages of the Time Stones, which alter and remove time from their stages, the mysterious Time Stones are also said to be able to turn a desert into a jungle, and a polluted lake into a beautiful lake by crossing through time.
Able to move normally even after he activates a Time Switch, which freezes enemies in place and stops the in-game counter. Can survive the heat of falling directly into a star , and resistance to Cosmic Radiation , possible Acausality Type 1 , Regeneration , Precognition through sneezing and Fourth Wall Awareness abilites of Super Sonic with Super form All previous abilities, with Extrasensory Perception is able to sense ki, though he's incredibly bad at it until the Overlord Saga , Ki Manipulation Can be used defensively and offensively, to strengthen his skin or to fire ki blasts, which can home in on targets, and form defensive barriers All previous abilities, with Dimensional Travel with 2 chaos emeralds and another person , enhanced Aura with Kaio-Ken , enhanced Ki Manipulation , Flight without super sonic , BFR via dimensional travel , Statistic Amplification via Kaio-Ken , Reflection All previous abilities All previous abilities All previous abilities, as well as those obtained in Sonic Generations, Sonic Colors, and Sonic Unleashed Sonic's profile All previous abilities, continues in the future.

Intelligence : Gifted should be comparable to his canon counterpart, is often able to determine foes real power levels quite easily, and hold back accordingly.
Standard Tactics: Will attack and attempt to blitz his enemies, but he will attempt to spare his foes, and he'll hold back on them if need be. Weaknesses: Is cocky when he defeated Frieza's second form, he ignored the fact that Frieza was still alive, and was caught off guard when he transformed into his third form , will initially hold back on foes unless he has a reason to fight seriously, will run towards danger if it involves saving people, even taking attacks for them from people comparable to him.
Note: Classic Sonic is not included in this profile, as he is not stronger than he is in canon. This is the same case for other classic characters, as well as those without significance to the story. Note 2: Sonic in Kaio-Ken x10 is not Low 2-C in the Cell Saga because Chaos Perfect Cell used the power of the Chaos Emeralds, as Cell is more powerful than anyone else who has used the negative power the Chaos Emeralds before this point, as well as that, the Negative Power of the Chaos Emeralds is significantly weaker than positive power, with it commonly being 4-A rather than 3-C.
