Thanks so much for this info. It sounds like someone sharpening a huge knife! The grinding noise occurs while driving forward, NOT while applying brakes. It does not worsen Upon turning ,esp. So far, no steering wheel vibration. Hopefully, bringing it in for work tomorrow ASAP will avoid any further rotor damage.
